Financial Assistance

Flames EvenStrength Program (FESP)

Hockey Calgary, KidSport, the Flames Foundation & Canadian Pacific have teamed up to support the Flames EvenStrength Program (FESP).  This initiative helps to alleviate the cost of playing hockey for children in our community who face financial barriers to participating in organized sports.

KidSport

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport.

Wolverines Player Assistance Fund

The Wolverines Hockey Club Player Assistance Fund assists Wolverines families who are experiencing financial hardship. The Player Assistance Fund is available to help with registration fees and/or cash calls. Families interested in receiving funding through the Player Assistance Fund are asked to complete an application to determine eligibility.
Families requesting financial assistance from the WHC Player Assistance Fund are asked to first apply for subsidy through other available sources (programs listed above). Please provide proof of application along with your WHC Player Assistance Fund application
