Hello Wolverines – we are excited to spotlight our next volunteer – Meera Ebrahim

If you haven’t met Meera yet, here is a little bit about her:

I am a hockey mom of 2 great kids. My daughter is 14 and plays for  GHC and my son plays on U13-5 Blue. I have been volunteering with GHC and Wolverines for the last 4 years. I started as a treasurer for both associations and last year I was a co-manager for my son’s U11 team.  This season I am the treasurer on my son’s team and the Manager on my daughter’s team. I’ve also volunteered for both roles on my daughter’s softball team and have worked a dozen casino nights. I’ve volunteered for the kid’s sports teams and their schools. Even though the hours are crazy, I love doing it.

In her nomination, it was said that “She takes all of our big ideas and makes it happen. Give her an excel spreadsheet and she could run the association.”
