Wolverines Hockey Club is proud to present Kim Winiski with the Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of her outstanding commitment, passion, and dedication to WHC. As the Social Media Coordinator for the Wolverines, Kim has played an essential role in elevating our visibility and fostering a sense of community among players, families, and supporters.
Since taking on this vital role, Kim has consistently demonstrated an innate understanding of how to connect with our community through digital platforms. From up-to-date Esso Minor Hockey Week and City Championship updates to highlighting individual and team achievements, Kim has ensured our players feel celebrated and that our club’s activities and events are communicated with great enthusiasm!
Beyond simply managing social media accounts, Kim has gone above and beyond by creating engaging content, coordinating with coaches and team managers, and ensuring that our online presence reflects the values and spirit of our club. Kim not only generates timely and creative content for our members but also regularly engages other clubs, Hockey Calgary and the hockey community as a whole.
Kim’s energy and positivity resonate in every post, and she consistently takes the time to acknowledge the hard work of players, coaches, and volunteers alike. Kim has created a supportive and inclusive online environment that fosters pride in the Wolverines Hockey Club.
